As I write this I am eating something I would say is not on my diet plan. But since it is a cup of cream based soup that i ate half of two days ago and am finishing today that is not bad. I Got it at a super restaurant in Lakeland called Harry's Seafood Bar and Grill. It is New Orleans Style seafood. It is crab and corn chowder.
But that is not what I am writing about... I weighed myself this morning and I have now Lost a total of 90 pounds since I started this journey just over a year ago (May 2007). There are not many things I miss, maybe mayo on my sandwiches and I think that is mainly a head thing because when I am eating it, I love it with mustard, it is just the thought of it. I do miss lazy afternoons. I come home and workout just about every day and that gets tiring.
What I don't miss... stares from people!!! Being the biggest girl in the room! Having people think for some reason I was lazy, even though I did work out! Having people assume I was stupid!
Things I love... fruit smoothies made at home... grilled veggies... grilled chicken in a huge homemade salad...working out with Tance on the line... compliments... wearing clothes that used to be too small... looking toward a bright future!
Things I am looking forward to... My goal weight... knowing it is a healthy weight... Tanzania next summer with great friends... shopping in the regular sized department...knowing I am beautiful... Having my mom actually notice my weight loss... having my hard work pay off... living life to the fullest...
I still have a long way to go, I never will be a size zero and I am fine with that, I just want to be a healthy weight for my height. I should be there in less than a year, between April and June 2009. This summer was a slow weight loss time, but it is picking back up, thankfully.

Whoo-hoo! Congratulations!
But it makes me sad to hear things you don't miss. I wish people weren't so mean.
Just remember those things when you look at other people. Also, try and look at people as God looks at them, he created me and loved me that way.
Ultimately I believe God will use my struggles to be able to minister to people in a more effective way. I hope my journey helps other people, too.
It isn't easy but I am glad to be on it.
